Oakway Estate is a Donnybrook Winery located on Farley Road, Paynedale in the premium wine-growing region of Geographe in Western Australia, and near the cities of Bunbury and Busselton.

Three generations of the Hammond family have worked together to create the vineyards of Oakway Estate. The property originally supported apple and stone fruit orchards before its potential for producing premium wines was realised by the present owners, Wayne and Ria Hammond in 1991. Today the 100 acre property supports the winery and cellar door, vineyard , a plantation of sustainable blue gum trees and a small herd of beef cattle.

With a passion for wine and enjoyment of the simple pleasures of life, Wayne and Ria’s vision for Oakway Estate is to create a relaxing and highly enjoyable experience for visitors. Oakway Estate – Turning moments into memories.

Our vines are carefully managed under a holistic system using organic and integrated pest management with natural fertilizers. We field graft our vines by hands in soil uniquely suited to the production of quality wine.

For pest management we use sheep and guinea fowl, and use a complete cover crop on the vineyard to aid natural nutrients. We are passionate about sustainable living and are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in winemaking.

Our Mediterranean style wines are handpicked and made with minimal intervention. Sunshine, soil, passion and joy are at the heart of every bottle. We hope you enjoy drinking them as much as we enjoy making them.
